Character Profile
1. Character's name: Arcadia Elisabeth Talcott
2. Character's nickname: Adia
3. Gender: Female
4. Age: 20
5. Looks: Dark brown hair (though it's almost ALWAYS dyed -- anything from blond to black, occasionally something more interesting). Blue eyes that vary from dark summer-sky blue to light gray, depending on what she's wearing – her best feature, in her opinion; that and her hands. Around 5'5. Not skinny: slender but strong. Occasionally graceful, but it's usually by accident.

Hobbies:Speaks (some) Elvish and Lapine (creations of JRR Tolkien and Richard Adams, respectively), writes voraciously, takes photographs of everyone and everything -- obsessively (not to mention spies on people when she has no film), plays guitar and writes her own songs, sketches, reads everything and anything, watches every movie that comes out. Philosophizes. Forms strong opinions. Designs costumes for movies/plays that she likes.
9. Goals / dreams:To become more confident in herself. To someday have a life content just with what she's doing and who she's with. To not have to follow the set of rules her parents seem to have.
10. Fears:That she'll never take the step forward (into a relationship, into an opportunity) because she's used to not being the one doing that. That she comes off as the little rich girl sometimes. Being alone. That she'll screw friendships or a relationship up with something she says. ...also...spiders. But only indoors.
11. Additional background info: Can be really sarcastic, extremely silly, or seriously ramblingly poetic, depending on her mood. Basically makes a practice out of becoming friends with people she likes and ignoring everyone else -- hate is not something she does particularly well. Although debate is.
She's got a best friend, Azrael, from high school (used to be in a band with him) who goes to college in another state. The other two bandmates, Tanyth and Matt, are in Buffalo and occasionally keep in touch.
Her family relationships are seriously weird. Her Connecticut family -- Mom, "Jack" (stepdad) and Jenna, her sister, are barely spoken to. Her mother has a very defined idea of what she thinks Adia should be doing. What she thinks everyone should be doing.
Her father can be a bit too understanding and openminded at times; at other times his worry-wart side and ultra-concern is a pain.
Her closest familial relationship is with her dad's boyfriend, Mark.
